The Council plays a key role in the region’s strategic, comprehensive and project planning for growth management, community development, and quality of life issues. Staff also provides technical assistance to its member governments, coordinates the review of Developments of Regional Impact, and acts as a clearinghouse for all regional project applications for federal assistance.
